Privacy Policy for Lion Eye Logistics

This policy outlines how Lion Eye Logistics handles the sensitive information shared during the dispatch process.

Our Commitment to Confidentiality

At Lion Eye Logistics, we understand that the information we receive is highly sensitive and critical to your operations. We assure you that no private or confidential information will be leaked, sold, or shared with unauthorized parties.

Information We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to perform professional dispatch services, which includes:

  • Carrier Information: MC/DOT Numbers, Insurance and W-9 documents, company name, and contact details.

  • Load Information: Rate confirmations, shipper/consignee names and locations, commodity details, and payment information.

  • Broker Information: Broker contact details and credit standing for load negotiation.

How We Use and Protect Your Information

  1. Strictly Business Use: All information is used solely for the purpose of booking, dispatching, and managing loads, and securing payment for the Carrier.

  2. Confidentiality: The operational details of all transactions (load rates, carrier contacts, and route details) are considered confidential and privileged information shared only between the Dispatcher, the Carrier, and the Broker involved in that specific transaction.

  3. Data Security: We employ secure systems and practices to protect all digital and physical records. Our team is strictly trained on the importance of data privacy and confidentiality.

Operational Policy: Zero-Tolerance for Late Pick-Ups

Maintaining a reputation for reliability is essential in the logistics industry. This policy outlines our standards for on-time performance.

Standard of Performance

Lion Eye Logistics maintains a zero-tolerance policy for preventable late pick-ups. Our primary goal is to protect the Carrier’s and the Dispatcher's reputation by ensuring all scheduled pick-up appointments are met on time.

Expectation and Procedure

  1. Communication is Key: The Carrier is expected to adhere strictly to all scheduled pick-up times.

  2. Unforeseen Delays: In the event of an unavoidable delay (e.g., severe weather, accident, equipment failure), the Carrier must notify the Lion Eye Logistics dispatcher immediately—at least 3 hours prior to the appointment time—so that the broker/shipper can be notified and arrangements can be made.

  3. Failure to Communicate: Failure to notify the dispatcher of a potential delay in a timely manner, or repeated unexcused late arrivals, will be considered a breach of our service agreement.

Consequence of Non-Compliance

Lion Eye Logistics reserves the right to immediately terminate our dispatch service agreement with any Carrier that demonstrates a pattern of disregard for scheduled pick-up times, as this jeopardizes our business relationship with brokers and shippers.
